Rapid weight loss is achieved from a
combination of diet and exercise. In order to see results fast
you must be very determined and disciplined. Anyone who claims
to have a fast solution without exercise is lying. It simple
doesn’t exist. The good news is by following a few simple tips
you can optimize your workout and see rapid weight
loss.
First, experiment with a few different workout plans. Everyone
is different. I know I’m stating the obvious but this is
especially true for workouts.
A few ideas are running, cycling, rowing, and walking. To
assess what works best for you find an online tool to track
your workouts. You can enter your body weight and height to
find your BMI (body mass index), track your workout, and even
your daily diet. People who track their workouts will be able
to evaluate the effectiveness of their daily workouts.
However as a general rule: longer and higher intensity workouts
tend to drive rapid weight loss compared to short, low
intensity workouts.
A second suggestion is to mix it up. You can mix up your
workouts in 2 different ways: Intensity level and type of
exercise.
Doctors and physical trainers often preach the value of
switching between low and high intensity workouts. This keeps
it fresh for you and it keeps the body guessing and helps
create a rapid weight loss workout.
If you find specific a workout you love like running, Great!
But if you are like most people, the daily grind of the same
old routine can get old fast. This can cause you lose interest
and eventually abandon the workouts all together. If you switch
between 2 or 3 cardiovascular exercises you are more likely to
stick with your workouts.
My third and final suggestion is simple. Have Fun! Enjoy it!
Add a workout buddy to the mix so you have someone to socialize
with during your workout. Or play soccer or basketball. Sports
can distract you from the underlying workout.
